Meet Caius, our ovesco Sales Manager
When he is not working hard at ovesco HQ in Newcastle, our brand manager and sales rep for NSW Caius can be found watching birds. His favourite? The iconic peregrine falcon, the world’s fastest animal, known for its diving speeds of up to 300km an hour. Ash Island, Hexham is one of the budding bird watcher’s favourite local locations. The popular Koorangang Wetlands spot is home to over 200 flying species.
What else does Newy-based, Sydney-born Caius get up to? “Changing nappies and picking Lego pieces out of my feet,” he jokes. Hanging out with his 16-month-old son is, of course, the favourite part of his day.
As for work, Caius joined the ovesco team about two years ago. “My favourite part of the job is partnering with customers to find the exact solution for them,” he comments. “I love meeting new customers and developing those relationships.”
ovesco has a huge range of more than 7000 specialty items for the transportation and industrial sectors. Our brand manager’s favourite item? “Definitely piano hinges!”
“There are loads of different types of hinges and it’s really satisfying helping customers to find the right hinge for their project.”
“Our kitting service is also really interesting. We put together specialty cases of components to get very specific jobs done, such as building part of an ambulance or military vehicle. The precision required is what makes this service special.”
When asked to describe the ovesco team in one word, Caius swiftly answers:
“Dependable.”
And we couldn’t agree more. We have a great team.
